Oreo cookie, cookie pops! 5/14

My friend Jessica Wheelie, had a craving for oreo cookie, cookie/cake pops.... so we reaserched a bit, bought our ingredients and went to work! :) They weren't as hard as I thought they would be, and they actually turned out to be pretty tasty!!  ;)  I had some leftover peppermint candy melts from Christmas, so we mixed that with some red ones and came up with delicious peppermint oreo cookie pops....  YUMMM!!! 

what "they" said you'll need.....

1 box of oreo cookies

1 package of cream cheese, room temp

sticks

candy melts

What WE used...

26 oz. of oreo cookies

1 package of cream cheese, room temp

sticks

candy melts, 1.5 bags

in a food processor crush the oreo cookies, a little at a time,

in a large bowl mix the cookies and the cream cheese together

then start making/shapping the mixture into balls,

we then melted a little of the chocolate and dipped the sticks into it, then we placed the sticks into the balls, after all the balls are "stuck" we put them in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes...  then we were ready to dip!  ;)

A baby shower for sweet Remi!! 2/18

My friend Sarah threw a cute baby shower for our other friend  Carlie and her soon to be here baby girl Remi!  I got to help by making the treats, and let me tell you that these little guys were really fun to make!!!  I was a little scared of the cake, but it came out like we wanted!! ;)

Carlie LOVES lemon, so naturally I HAD to make lemon cake pops, and let me tell you!  I think they were the hit of the party!!  haha!  ;)  They definitely got the must make again vote!

Strawberry Cake Pops!

..... For a Special little Girl!!

I had so much fun making these little guys...  And it was so special to me that Kati asked Sophia if she wanted me to make her some cake pops...  when she told me that, and that Sophia had said yes, I went to work!  ;)

I was armed with all the supplies that I needed and with Bakerella's wonderful book!  ;)

Thank you Kati for letting me borrow yours...  This is a GREAT book, and it has specific instructions on exactly how to make the cake pops...  If you don't have one of these, you should get one!!  ;)

Sophia was having a Strawberry Shortcake Party so Strawberries were on the menu!  ;)

Mike and Gaby were busy on this here day....  so I enlisted the help of my mom... I told her it was because I wanted company, but I think we both knew it was really because I wouldn't of been able to make these guys by myself!!  ;)  THANKS mom....  We did a good job!  ;)

I started out by piping out the "leaves!"

 ....and of course I forgot to take pictures of the "process."  But here is a few of the final product..  My mom was in charge of the "seeds,"  didn't she do a good job??  ;)

...and in the midst of my "procrastination," and finding the need to do MORE, I went ahead and made these guys too!!  :)  I had bought the molds for another party we had planned and actually never got to use them...  BUT I thought this was the perfect occasion to whip them up!

I was really happy with how they all turned out...  and I was super surprised to see how cute they looked inside the little fence that Kati created for them...  There's no doubt that "presentation is EVERYTHING!"

Girl's Night B-I-N-G-O

Jessica and Melissa ALWAYS have the BEST ideas for get-togethers...  this time they thought that a BINGO night was in order..  and the theme?? bibbity bobbity bingo....  so cute...  AND sooo FUN!  Thanks girls, it was a fun night like always!  :)  I should apologize in advance for all the pictures, I couldn't pick just a few...  I will let them tell you about our night!  ;)
